ISTL, in a joint venture with Commlink Infotech (Bangladesh) and Prescient Software (Ghana), has been awarded the design, development and pilot run of SPFMSP MIS project, which initially include the development of the central MIS – namely, SPBMU MIS, and the MIS for the DWA office which is called the MoWCA MIS. Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MoWCA) is one of the most important line ministries under the Ministry of Finance (MoF), the Government of Bangladesh.
ISTL and its partners have been chosen through a open tender, in which large and reputed software companies of Bangladesh have participated in. Saiful Islam, the CEO of ISTL, has marked this achievement as a big milestone for the company. He also believes that the continuous development of the project for adding more MIS for other schemes is perfectly aligned with the vision that ISTL has started their journey with and that is of making our country a better place through integration of software and technologies.

At the end of the very extensive procurement process, Commlink Info Tech Ltd (working as a consortium of three companies) was selected and awarded the contract for developing the SPBMU MIS as well as the MISs for the two selected social protection schemes. Commlink Info Tech Ltd is a leading research-oriented company established in Bangladesh in 2005. The contract between Maxwell Stamp PLC (the managing agent of SPFMSP) and Commlink Info Tech Ltd was signed November 1, 2016.
